First off, I LOVE Maes Hughes. He's a WONDERFUL character with a huge heart and an obsessive love over his daughter, Elicia.
At Otakon 2009 (Day 1: Friday, July 17), I discovered this awesome Maes Hughes cosplayer while wandering around in the Dealer's Room (I usually find quite a few good cosplayers there ^_^).
I asked him if I could take his picture after I noticed how amazingly similiar to Hughes he really looked... I was amazed (and SO HAPPY!) when he pulled out the photo album with ALL THOSE PICTURES of Elicia in it!!! ^_____^
